Donors and Advisors Benton Community Foundation's donors come from all income levels and philanthropic interests. They share one thing in common - a keen desire to help others improve their quality of life. Some donors send a gift once or twice a year; some families establish funds to remember a loved one; some residents include the Foundation in their planned giving through wills and estate planning. Donors who wish to create new funds tailored to their philanthropic goals may do so during their lifetime or as part of their estate plan with a minimum gift of $1,000. All Foundation funds, whether existing or new, fall into one of the categories listed under types of funds. Advisors - including lawyers, trust officers, accountants, and insurance agents - are encouraged to discuss charitable giving as a part of their clients' financial and estate planning. Refer to types of funds to help your clients create their legacy for the community. Contact the Benton Community Foundation if we can provide any extra information for you or your client. |
