Unrestricted Funds
Benton County Fund was established in 1998 by the Board of Directors using assets received by the Foundation as part of Lilly Endowment Matching Grants. Annually, various United Ways in Indiana direct pledge payments targeted for Benton County into this fund. Grants are made by Benton Community Foundation from this fund to non-profits in Benton County, some of which parallel services provided by United Way.
Benton Friends Fund is an endowment fund established in 2002 as a result of local contributions matched by Lilly Endowment Inc. during the GIFT V campaign to build unrestricted endowment funds in every Indiana community foundation.
Foundation Operating Fund was established in 2006 to support the operations of the Community Foundation through local contributions.
Victor and Jane Lauerman Endowment Fund was established in 2002 with the gift of a building to be renovated into office and program space for Benton Community Foundation.
Edgar J. and Mary Ann McGinnis and Louis I. Freeland Family Fund was established in 2002 with the gift of a building to be renovated into office and program space for Benton Community Foundation. |
