
Benton Community Foundation awards Community Grants to nonprofit organizations at two levels:
- Grant requests of less than $500 may be submitted throughout the year for review. Request letters must be sumbitted by the 2nd Monday to be considered during that month.
- Grant requests of $500 or more may be submitted during the annual grant cycle. Applications are typically due in early August; funding is awarded by mid-September.

As a community foundation, we address the broad needs of residents of Benton County which fall generally into five categories:
- Civic Affairs
To include the support of programs related to criminal justice, community development, economic development, citizen involvement, leadership training, and other general community activities.
- Cultural Affairs
To include the support of programs and facilities which are designed to offer widespread opportunities for participation and appreciation of the arts.
- Education
To include support for innovative educational programs serving a broad spectrum of our residents.
- Health and Safety
To include the support of health and medical related programs, including emergency response organizations, and recreational opportunities.
- Social Services
To include the support of human service organizations, programs for children and youth and services for seniors.
