Benton Community Foundation recently announced that they will award up to $65,000 in grants to charitable organizations in Benton County during the 2007 Community Grant Cycle. Applications are available online at www.bentoncf.org or at the Foundation office; all applications must be submitted by August 1, 2007. Recipients will be selected by the Board of Directors in mid-September.

Grants may be used for a wide variety of purposes; however priority is given to programs that reach many people, improve the ability of the organization to serve the community over the long term, serve Benton County residents, and are run by nonprofit organization. Benton Community Foundation has awarded over $1 million in grants since inception in 1998.
