Benton Community Foundation administers several scholarship programs. The selection criteria vary for each of the scholarships; most of the Foundation's awards use one consolidated application. Visit the page of each individual fund for detailed information on application and selection procedures.
Scholarship funds are particularly appealing to donors who wish to memorialize or honor a special person in their life. Individuals or groups can create an endowment that will provide scholarships in perpetuity from the earnings of the fund or, on the other hand, create a pass-through fund that will provide scholarship assistance for a specific period of time. The founding contributors determine the criteria for the selection process and can participate in the selection of the recipients.
