Council for Academic Excellence
Since 1986, Benton Central Council for Academic Excellence has been committed to honoring and encouraging students in college-bound classes. In addition to a Spring Banquet honoring Juniors and Seniors who have challenged themselves in the classroom while maintaining good grades, the Council awards a scholarship each year to a graduating senior.
Recipients of the Council for Academic Scholarship are determined by a points system based on the level of courses they have taken and the grades they received. The senior with the highest points is awarded the scholarship.
