
Davies Ellis Scholarship
This award, for up to four years, will be made to students who are residents of Benton County and wish to pursue either skilled craft/trade post-secondary studies or a traditional baccalaureate program in an accredited college or university. This award is not limited to college attendance in Indiana. Criteria for selection include: academic preparation for chosen post-secondary program, school and community activities, volunteer and paid work experience, and financial need. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA at the close of their seventh high school semester. Finalists are required to complete an interview and impromptu essay.
NOTE: Current county residency is required. Graduation from any high school is permissible. Students who will graduate from Benton Central but reside outside of Benton County are not eligible for this award.
